But if you think about it, the Lakota Sioux call it "Six Grandfathers Mountain" and it was a sacred site for the Lakota and other indigenous people for centuries... only to become stolen by the federal government in the most “ripe and rank case of dishonorable dealings ... found in our history." United States v. Sioux Nation of Indians, 448 U.S. 371, 388 (1980).
So yeah, sure. Put Donald Trump on Mt. Rushmore and let's confirm what that grotesque theft and desecration of a sacred mountain range actually represents.
